This place is a gem! I can't believe it's not packed all the time. Almost hesitant to say it because I don't want it to get too busy. The seafood was some of the best I've had. The people working there are friendly because it's a family owned restaurant that really cares. I was in town visiting a friend and we actually went there two nights in a row. I've never done that with a restaurant before. And I was not disappointed. The second night was just as good as the first. And the first night was good enough to get me to come back right away.
When in Daytona Beach, I strongly suggest you try this remarkable local seafood eatery. They source most of their seafood themselves, ensuring exceptional quality, and the service was impeccable! 9 out of 10.

Amazing platter for 2 - crab legs, Shrimp, potatoes, corn and an egg All delicious and obviously a popular item since every table and takeout ordered it. Wear old clothes cause it's a delicious buttery experience.
Hidden gem for seafood. We love the crab leg boil and never leave disappointed. Make sure you ask about the catch of the day Service is great, the have a small bar and plenty of tables to sit and have a bite
Wow!!!! In town for just one night and i stumbled across this gem on yelp. Amazing!!! The service was great and I do believe that this was the best shrimp & crab I have ever had. Whenever we visit our college student, we go here. Period. End of story. It is not a fancy place but the food is great and the staff is friendly.
Don't miss the new location for Macker Seafood on Bay Street! Very good service to match very good food. We enjoyed buffalo shrimp, a shrimp cocktail and a personal scallop steam pot! Each was prepared well. The buffalo sauce was just the right amount of hot, the scallops were flavorful, and the pot included a boiled egg! Small but lots of seating options, including outside, and plenty of parking on Bay Street or the City lot next door. We will recommend Macker Seafood to our friends and make it a regular stop for us.

Really friendly staff, REALLY good seafood !! This was a different place before that we ate at every time we came to Daytona. They changed ownership, and it showed. Macker took over and it now our very favorite place !!!
